Furthermore, the modern Ottawa Senators are actually an expansion team. When they last won the Stanley Cup over 75 years ago, they were not part of the NHL. BTW, the Senators have actually won 11 Cups. They ceased to be a team in 1934, when due to budget constraints in Canada, were forced to move to St. Louis. It was not until 1990, when Ottawa was added as a team.
