Hi Carl,

We don't have a teacher or mentor. Me and another dancer set up the team a few years ago so taught them how to do it but I can't claim any credit for the innovation - they'd just be doing the same old traditional stuff if they only did what I told them to do! Being Scotland helps, we don't dance with other teams very often so have evolved a distinctive style and approach. Thanks so much for your nice comments.

Who is your teacher/mentor?

I've seen this version of Fixies and Figure-Eight (with the twirls) show up more often in the last few years. Do you know who came up with it?

I've been dancing and teaching rapper for 20 years.  I was knocked-out when I saw this. This is the most energetic, innovative and most importantly, ENTERTAINING rapper dance and team I've seen in a long, long time. Ladies, my top hat is off to you. Wonderful work. I'm going to play this video to my classes to show them what new thinking about rapper can produce.
