@juniorg1983 true but it does work, and clearly you follow him, rock the bells, the next episode, cheryl lynn, it just works. Me for one will never tire of watching him mix the same tunes.
@juniorg1983 can anybody else do it? what are u talking about he does'nt have to change it, it's always original until somebody else does it. and everyone on the whole planet deserves a chance to hear and feel it. do you agree?
true, but unlike other club djs his routines are hard to pull off, AMs routines here easy to duplicate, but this jazzys stuff was actually creative. look up AL3 dope club DJ and you can tell everything is top of the dome.
How do some of you not know what tracks Jazzy Jeff is spinning? They are all well known "hip hop" tracks, he is a true master of his craft and all but the music is pretty basic. No underground tracks but still bad ass.
Jeff has always been the shit.I grew up in Camden NJ right across the bridge,so we always got to see jeff do his thing at party's all over philly and jersey. He is one of my DJ hero's .Peace-DJ Jayru
The song he played before Tupac - I get around was by the Vitamin String Quartet. (Tributed to Tupac.) You can look it up on itunes just put in "i get around" and you'll find them. As far as the samples, there's James brown (step up..), one of gang star tracks was used for the beat, and the voice samples were from Roger & Zapp - Computer love.
