@145cvb The Lao People will be Motivated to Learn about the Career's they want, and the one's that have not graduated,They Can go back to learning and then to colledge.A Junior Colledge will help Unemployed Lao's to a greater opportunity.:)
This is a good news. Maybe Chinese company can create jobs and modern development in Laos after this connection. It will benefit both China and Laos in a big way. And the entire region in SEA.
sound too good to be true . i just hope laos government know what they doing .. china will pay for this project and laos dont have to pay a dime hmmmmmm..? chian trying to big head laos goverment . that how i see it
Chinese govt didn't pay for all. The railroad is a joint investment between Chinese companies, which hold a 70 percent stake in the project. The total cost is going to be around $7 billion and Laos will foot the bill around $2.5 billion.
I don't want to be on that train when it goes over 200 km/hr, because any big rock, a herd of deer or sheep on the way, that thing will go off the track.
I will reserve my comments on this project. I can't help wonder though who will benefit more from the train project? China and the countries south of Lao?
China will bring its people to build it. I am not sure how Lao people will benefit.

China is big lair High speed track not allow frieght train
