Yes it is on hard and yes it does kill them often in a single hit. Wrench jocky 1 ups the power of the wrench by 350% of its base dmg. Add that to a times 4 multiplier when the enemy is hit with electrobolt and you have all the dmg you need to drop most splicers even on hard in 1 shot. Wrench jocky II makes this combo even more insane later- good stuff.

i have bioshock, i've beaten it on hard too and the one-two punch does not kill even the first splicer you face after splicing

I believe it's the "Shorten Alarms" tonic, I'm sure you can guess what it does, and you have to listen to the full audio diary that's located in the room, then the picture will fall and reveal the tonic.

i've noticed that splicers never really die they just keep getting up every 10 minutes after you hit them with a rench and i HATE wasting my ammo i mean do you have any tips on how to end there life for good? because they really piss me off!

when you first enter rapture It is so scary when you are going in the little elevator thing and you see the spider splicer kill that guy and it is all dark in the room except fot the light coming through the small window. It scared the crap out of me the first time I played.

ihateualot999: In this area is a room with many stacked boxes and a safe. If you hack the safe and leave the room, a spider splicer will jump down from the ceiling.

Also, does anyone else have a glitch involving the hanging barrels in the bar area here (they seem to be dissconnected from each other and are just floating in space at an odd angle)?

He's the easiest one to get a picture of, but he's not the only Spider Splicer in the level. Any splicer that walks on the ceiling and/or has the hooks is a spider splicer and will count towards your pictures.

I'd expect the pictures of them dead are just as good as the pictures of them alive where the games story is concerned. He just wants you to snap the shots, didn't say they needed to be alive.
