Mastering beats on FL Studio

I make Dubstep, and I just wanted to ask if every single instrument/sound you use on Fl Studio should have its own mixer insert. For example, say I made a very simple beat with a kick, snare and hi hat. Would I put the kick in 1 insert, the snare in another and the hi hat in another one? I usually add more than one instrument/sound in 1 insert and when I turn it up of equalize that insert it does all of the sounds so I assume it will make sense to put them all in separate inserts? Great video.

Well basically, I wanted to know how I could stop the overall song from peaking?... I used compressions on both the individual sounds and master... I still don't understand, because if I turn the sounds down and then try and turn the volume up on the sound system, it gets distorted. What am I doing wrong? Please help me? Am I compressing wrong? What? I would really appreciate your help. Thank you. God bless.

@Psalm34and1 sometimes it is the order of the effects in the effects tray that makes a difference. Can you post a video with the problem? Or send it to me (looped Package) and I will make a video fixing it?

@djlaxa I use the Fruity Limiter from time to time. If you look up FL Guru i think, you will see some good ways to use it!
