I did a lot of my mixing on old (i.e. woodgrain) Kenwood turntables and even later some cheap Numark belt drive tables. My first mixer was a Pyramid that has so shitty it would pick up radio or other interference if you turned all of the levels to high. Records are cheap if you buy a few at a time. You don't need a ton of money to start dj'ing so don't follow all the hype. And if you can learn to mix on some belt drives you will be a pro when you get behind the techs.

ya, dec. 21,2012 11:11 am.a dawn of new consiousness. na, i make tracks mostly sounds or combinations of sounds and number sequenzes. i guess i should jam somthing out live, maybe ill post a video. some of the gear belongs to a friend of mine. we trade off to make new sounds.

but i have thought about cryogenicly freezeing all of the old roland gear it just sounds so good.

In case you noobs don't know, the sampler with the bpm's is taking in the bpm of the track that s being cued. When you sample a part of the track, it will play it at that speed. Its not necessarily meant for beatmatching(realistically it would take forever). I have a PVDJ grabber and in my vids you can see how its used.

ok realy people, its not a beat counter its a smpler that just happened to be on i dont use a beat counter and never will the device you are refreing to is a cloops sampler. i will post another mix in a few days with it turned off i am in total agreement i got an idea to step up the skills a bit ill do a diffrent mix w/ diffrent records blind folded.

yea thats cool. but i dont use a beat counter that is a cloops sampler that was not being used. thers a lot of eqing going on especilly in the low end it just didnt tranfer well to video. try listeng to the set with headphones i was trying to get as many tracks in as i could as i thought it was a dj mixxing battle.

In Germany every kid on the Street can mix...Its the truh...and without an beatcounter..but the Tunes are ok...Make more with the Equiliser turn out the Bass for a time and you mix to fast hold the records in the mix turn it back and in..the peoples will love it...But keep on mixing you are good!!!

i changed cammra positions, i thought that would be within in the rules. this was my first time ever makeing a video. but now that i know how i will pump out a few more. i usaly rock 3 turntables. somtimes 4 that usaly leaves no room for error.

however it can be done.
