I'm nearly gold with this gun. I use Extreme Conditioning Pro, QD Pro and Dead Silence. Ext. Mags, Range. Imo Scavenger isn't needed if you use Specialist and have it as your first unlock. When you get to specialist bonus the gun is BEAST on certain maps.

I use this same setup on my shotguns. Sometimes my third specialist perk is Blast shield, and sometimes it's blind eye. Your third perk should always aid your survivability.

In MW3 you NEED the specialist streak pakage for this one reason:

You WILL NEED BOTH the Range AND Damage proficiency for shoguns to bring them back into par. The specialist perk will give you both plus other nice bonus' such as the SMG proficiency such as "light weight" (I forget the actual name) and extra perks such as ninja, marathon and steady aim to help you out a little more as well.
