best way to get crystal shards is to line your hellshaft with pearl stone and hammer them as you go down when you need shards

@QuickLinerAnimations Crystal bullets will have higher DPS due to the shrapnel, however, in PVP, you are right about cursed bullets. after all, most of the bosses are immune to the "on fire" debuff, and other debuffs that will sap life.

But it can go higher than 200 with the Jungle armor set (+20 mana each piece of armor for a total of 60), or getting one of the magic set hats from one of the new sets of armor (Colbalt Hat = +40 mana, Mythril Hood = +60 mana, Adamantite Headgear = +80 mana, or Hallowed headgear = +100 mana.

@10below8 You can stop the spread by walling it off with wood (one of the few blocks that doesn't get changed by corruption, and then you can get rid of it by digging it away, or you can just turn it into regular or hallow by using powder or holy water...

it worked for me, the only thing you have too look out for is that when you do this during hardmode the corruptors don't shoot outside off the wood casing...

Make every single Corrupt block into a Hallow block or just a regular block. You'll have to make asstons of mine shafts and you'll use hundreds if not thousands of bottles of holy water.

@10below8 No can do, i think, besides the old way, with tons of money to buy hallowed seeds to make holy water and purification powder... Yep, that sucks. I hate corruptors, so I before making a new map first thing I'l do is kill-off the corruption out of it, then make a hallowed biome to keep it from spreading. Corruption doesn't spread through Hallowed, is in the wiki, but I've seen it happen, The vines of corruption change the biome, so keep it short. That's what I've found out for now.

You can also encase it in wood, it's a lot cheaper and it isn't affected by corruption :D

And once you have no more corruption you need to wait with destroying any demon alters untill all of your world is converted into hallow, so when you break one no ebonstone get's spawned between normal rocks, only between pearlstone making it unable to spread and easy to get rid of.

WuffyWulf did a crystal storm vs. Magic harp video, and the magic harp owns the shit out of crystal storm for multiple enemy battles and large monster battles (bosses) because the crystal storm disappears on impact while the magic harp notes travel through the enemies, hitting multiple times. Try it on The Destroyer for ridiculousnesses.

you should remake your Light Disc video, as you can craft 5 disc's that stack, not the damage stacks 5 times with one disc, could you please remake it, it would help plenty of people understand it, and also you pronounce terraria wrong, its not ter-rawr-ria, its pronounced ter-rare-ria

@random11ism There kind of is. What I did was go to a part of the hollow (underground) and made about 10 rows of 20 pearlstone block wide exactly 3 blocks of nothing between them (just my pet peeve any space is fine). Play for an hour or so and go back and you should get at least 10 of them.

@random11ism Crystals are extremely easy to get if you can just find an underground hallow cave. If you mean actually building a farm, I guess you could just clear out a cave and build it from pearl stone, but they grow so much naturally I'm not gonna do that lol. I keep around a stack and sell what I find when I go to the hallow for souls and what not, theres a big cave right underneath my house :D

Crystal Storm is AWESOME, just like the Rainbow Rod, which are both based on hallow materials. Whereas the ammo you get in the hallow is really cool but not that effective, the crystal bullets barely hit, just like the horrows.
