Gotta keep in mind that the porn industry still uses "vintage" and quite dated music. Much of that music still used today was back when they were using FM synths and analogue synths to create the tracks. Naturally a modern analogue modeling synth is going to have that vintage sound we so commonly associate with the porn industry :) Some of those tracks were actually quite good in those days too :)

These are great sounding synths with a crap load of features packed into one little case, but their appears to be an issue with some of the keybeds. I just went throught 3 Xio's that all had extremely noisy B keys. They're somehow slipping past quality control. Even Novation told me that if there is one or two keys producing considerably more noise than the others then somethings wrong. Others have also mentioned they're having the same problems.

I think the knobs pop out easily on most Novation synths. I got the same problem on KS5 and Supernova II Keyboard. I also had the same problem on Supernova II rack before I replaced it with the keyboard version. I'm tempted to use glue, but not sure yet :P
