I love how Mizzou fans were always saying "who cares about basketball" when they sucked, and then they have one good year and try to make a case as to why they're better than us. Really? You guys have to be the most fairweather fans ever.

Where have I heard something similar before? I know! KU fans. Wouldn't drive across Lawrence to watch a Jayhawk football game two years ago. They were saying "Who cares about football?" when they sucked. They have one good year in football and suddenly they're gonna win the Big 12. Talk about fair weather fans. One of the few schools that actually lives right on top of a major metropolitan area yet you couldn't even come close to filling up that tiny stadium until a couple years ago.

No they never said "who cares about football?" Also, Lawrence isn't exactly in a metropolitan area, and the fans have been filling up to MOST of the capacity the last 5 years. And we never said we'd win the Big 12. Mizzou basketball meanwhile averaged 700 fans a game when they sucked, and even when they were good they sold out about 5 games. Kansas football fans aren't nearly as bad as Mizzou football. Dumbass.

Let's get to the real issue here. Jayhawk fans love to talk shit to Mizzou fans about basketball. This year we had the better team and some Jayhawk fans like yourself love to dish it out year after year but when the shoe is on the other foot you can't take your own medicine.  Cry baby. Wah!!!!

So what? Kansas City has lots of KU alumni and donors living in and it is "Allen Fieldhouse East." We always play at least one game a year in KC. Missouri doesn't play in KC because they suck.

Kansas beat Mizzou, so your point is irrelevant. Went further in the Tournament? One round is a lot further isn't it? Getting to the Elite Eight is awesome, Mizzou hasn't ever tasted Final Four, so I guess I understand why you're so happy about the Elite Eight. Also Kansas won the Big 12 regular season title. So it wasn't rather obvious. Even in Mizzou's one good year they couldn't exactly say that they were better than Kansas.
