'Teapot' is the casual name for that one figure of the dance. We seei t it here performed by individuals - there are also 'teapot' figures with four couples, with either the ladies or the gentlemen joining hands in the centre.

Maybe if it's played with the music it's less easy to hear the teacher explaining and also he has less control to stop and explain. : )
