He had never killed as many as the lesser Vamps did- at least not in this series. And that's really a shame- Looks like he's lost his edge...

Have you ever watched Buffyverse?

His killing of Jenny, um the mental torture to wear down Buffy and everyone else. And the mental torture of everyone else in Angel. It's all so they'd screw up, he'd get out and rip out their throats. Also, the torturing of Giles!!

If he were as evil as his reputation, he had at least killed a few innocents same time. But when he went evil in angel and Buffy, he tried to destroy the world! Who would do that, if he were evil? And no selfrespecting bad boy would miss a decent skirmish on the street when he were naturally superior. o.O He was downright timid. Some catastrophies, murder-series and so on. Spectacular crucitixions and tortures. Clearly missed that...

long story short, you're just rewriting Spike's arguments against Angel(us).

I also think the glimpse of Angelus we got in season 2 was the good approach: the mindfucking one, with some real damage (Jenny's death for ex); but we have to keep in mind his killing past - moreover, the Gang had it in mind, Angelus knew it and played with it.

But in AtS season 4 I didnt enjoy Angelus as in BtVS season 2, not half! Season 2 was the climax of Buffyverse (Josswerse dare I say?... xD)
