yes yes i was one of them someone that hated The Mars Volta..... but i never heard them. My brother came up to me with Francis the mute and said trust me please so i did he placed it in the CD player and it played a symphony of amazing music just the best I've ever heard. I have never really liked TMV's videos. They are complete musical geniuses, they are my favorite band of all time, but most of their videos are just performance recordings with weird lighting and overly long transitions and fades. Even this CG production is creepy and cool but doesn't feel all that tied or timed to the music. It's still watchable, unfortunately the 3-star rating is not an option anymore.
