Well I will buy a ps3 on December.I would play this game but I want to ask:

1.Japan version,looks like there are more special character to buy.Is that true?

2.I'd seen other video in YouTube , but some of it have character's sound and some of it did not have....What is it ? A game setting or different version??

and plz tell me buy Engish or Japan version is better>.<

Both versions are exactly the same. The only difference is that the English version has dual voice overs, allowing you to listen to the game in both languages, so obviously English is your best bet, unless you're more fluent in jap. The only characters who have no voices are the DLC characters Gig and Aramis and that's only in English. But if you're talking about the cutscenes, it's only DLC characters and Ten Gents cutscenes that are silent. The characters themselves have voices.

@xdkiller21 if you enjoyed disgaea 1 and 2 i REALLY REALLY RECOMMEND GETTING 3 english version preferabbly for both jap/eng voices and english writing!!!this game is much improved from disgaea 2 i really recommend it!

Yeah. There are five battles you have to do before this one and in order to access those battles you have to pass a bill. The bill will come up when speak to a specific person in the main hub, so just talk to everyone.

I just don't understand why dubs exist... the japanese voices are just awesome... i think it's much better keep the original voice work and just translate the text... it's like watching a movie with subs... i can't stand the dubs... since i saw this game i started to work just for getting a ps3 and the game xD... i don't care what graphics-fagtards say... disgaea 3 it's just awesome...

There are more than 2, theres the good, normal, several bad, and the Mid Boss ending.

However each game takes place in an alternate netherworld so there is no "story continuation" EXCEPT in bonus chapters. It was shown in the first game that travel between netherworlds was possible (you fight an overlord from an alternate netherworld around halfway into the game).

Downloadable content is nice. And a plus for PS3. But what do you think will happen when Sony shuts the server down in the future (like the dreamcast) ? All Downloadable-Content = Dead.

But still, it would be cool if you could download levels, characters etc. Or make your own levels. That should be in Disgaea 3 if it isn't, LEVEL MAKER!

after you beat the normal story line you can keep playing after and talk to people and they unlock stuff in the class you gota pay mana to get to something like "Meet Bigstar" or something close to that costing like 2000 mana and then after the fight talk to people again and more stuff unlocks. just keep it up and eventually this happens ( i think... not that far yet... only had it 3 days)

They join you right after beating this battle. As for Adell, he's available for download in the Japanese version. He's not available in the U.S. version yet, but NISA did say we will eventually get him and all the other downloadable cameos.

well, what makes everyone think that the game can run on other systems (lowergrade 2nd or 1st gen) is the sprite system the disgaea is known for. but really the combat graphics and backgrounds are using the latest graphical engions to give you the speed and best looking battles i have seen in a long time, this is one of the few video games series that is perfect.

No, that's definitely bull. Saw the U.S. version and found out that Laharl claims his height was stolen and that his original height was 6'6", but we all know that Laharl is really short. For the record, he's actually 4'5", perhaps 4'6" now during Disgaea 2.

My guess is that it appears in the Dark Assembly (or whatever it's called now in Disgaea 3) during post-game. Unlike the previous games, beating the main game doesn't bring you straight to a new game+. Instead, after the game, an extra post game story appears, which is where you face all the NI cameos. The New Game+ feature is still there though and it's accessed by talking to a specific character in the school.

Well, Laharl's voice sounds a tiny bit lower than in Disgaea 2 and his laugh sounds a little different too. Also, he sounds more like he's read to kick some ass rather than just being really pissed off like in Disgaea 2.
