    As I was saying, I've read BFFM so many times I have it pretty much memorised. Tom is totally honest and his book just makes sense. It also works. Tom's physique got me into fitness and bodybuilding and I've replaced all my copies of the Bible with BFFM - the true word of God. Bodybuilding is my religion.

  • Tommy V is your man. I got BFFM about six or so years ago and always refer back to it. I'v have it pretty much memorised.

  • I love Venuto & his program. One question though: I never understood how rice cookers make cooking rice "easier" than stove top methods? On the stove, you simply boil the water first before adding the rice. In the cooker, you put them both in together. But it cooks the same way, in the same amount of time, so....... ?????

  • @calisongbird I don't own a rice cooker..but i assume it's easier because you don't have to stir it or worry about over cooking if you're not watching it

  • @POPEYE2023 Tom Venuto...read the book it's so worth it...you need a well balanced diet Protein Carbs Essential Fats and lots of water

  • @donutgabe That's not true. He absolutely loves whey protein as a supplement. I have all 3 of his books.

  • What are your thoughts on "purple" potatoes rather than regular white ones. The are suppose to be much healthier?

  • @qqqqeqqqq white potatoes arent a v good source of carb. Not sure about purple but if theyre anything like white theyre prob not v good either. Stick with sweet potato.

  • @LukePettit That's not true. A small baked potato is a high source of carbs, fiber and nutrition. You shouldn't do them every day, and yams/sweet potatoes are better, but white potatoes aren't the enemy in moderation.

  • No smoke and mirrors with Tom. What you see is what you get. He embodies what he preaches.

    The best investment I have ever made in regards to my diet is when I decided to purchase his critically acclaimed e-book, "Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle." It has been a godsend!

    Once I started implementing his nutritional guidelines and took up a consistent cardio routine, the pounds and inches literally melted right off of me.

  • Do you drink milk at all? I am wondering if skim milk is ok because I drink about 16 oz per day with my protein powder and maybe about 1/4 cup with my coffee to color it when I drink coffee. And when I eat oats I use the skim milk as well. Or do you just use water to cook those oats?

  • im currently deployed and most of what we do on our time off is workout. with BFFM, i went from 187lbs to 178 in 7 weeks and my waist is thin again. now everyone in my platoon is seeking advice from me. and we're also breaking myths about carbs, cardio, and SUPPLEMENTS! thanks for the truth tom!

  • I might as well weigh in too (no pun intended :) ) Tom is the embodiment of "what you see is what you get". No lies, no hype. As he says, It is simple but that is not saying it's easy. His ebook is worth every penny. It's more of an e-encyclopedia. It's not magic - you do the work - but if you do, it works.
