The Red Victor (the car in this video) might just be the "fastest accelerating" street legal car in the world, but again, only 223 mph top speed. The Veyron is faster and is street legal.

@Parkerthe1 Right, the car in the video is the "Red Victor" - a dragster that might be the fastest accelerating car that's street legal (0-60 in one second is insanely quick). There's a distinction. Fastest acceleration =/= top speed. "World's Fastest" is generally reserved for top speed, not acceleration.

It's not the fastest street legal car. Sorry to say. It might be the fastest "ACCELERATING" in a quarter mile, but it's pretty clear that 267 mph achieved by the Bugatti Veyron (A german-owned French company) is the fastest as far as street legal cars go. The US built SSC Ultimate Aero comes in second at 256 mph. The Red Victor 2, unfortunately, topped out at 223 mph.

He does Hot Rod magazines Drag week deal every year over a thousand miles in a week with no support vehicle. It may not look like your street car but it is one. As for the whole American vs ... The only down side to having antique tags is that you can only drive that specific car Friday, Sat & Sunday. I understand what you're saying though
