I miss John John so much! It's never the same when I visit the park without him there. He was so smart. I begged him to look up just one time with his ears pricked so I could get a pic and he did FINALLY!!! That was it though. Then he turned his butt to me like as if to say, "That's it woman, I helped ya out, now leave my ass alone" LOL God Bless him! I'll always love that grand old man!
We have released a documentary about John Henry. He was a beautiful horse with a beautiful soul. He will be dearly missed. Check out our Youtube page for the trailer and the website for all other info at john henry movie. Lets not forget the inspiration he was for all who were fortunate enough to know him.

I had the honor of being with John Henry in the last few hours of his life. I left him at his barn at 5:30 PM on October 8th. I knew when I left it would be my last goodbye. He is extremely special to me and he will ALWAYS be in my heart. I miss him so much, but I know he is happy running free in his paddock in the heavens! Judy (Burbank, CA) XO John~John. Thanks for posting this beautiful video.
Rest in Peace John Henry.....It always is heartbreaking to loose a legend. He was one of a kind, and very, very special. The world has lost a true hero, in the old boy! I don't think I will see another like him in my lifetime. Rest in Peace Champ!
Well, actually that's not quite accurate. He did it in retaliation for her hitting him on the nose. And it wasn't a vet, but a vet tech at HDM while he was there for colic surgery in 2002.
Its a shame they had him gelded, he would of made a great sire. Who knows what he would of produced. But I guess we will never know.
