  • really nice but please make it eamonn walker (3:50) , not williams.

  • fantastic synop!

  • Wow! good commentary. I am a blues fan. Did this movie forget jazz? not really. If you consider that around that 90% of the black communities in chicago and acrose the country were listeing to Blues. Jazz does has its place though. I love blues music

  • I never would have guessed Beyonce could really sing. She should have had an Oscar for this movie.

  • No the hell she shouldn't. She came in an hour and a half into the mvie then it went off half an hour later

  • Well, I didn't have my stopwatch handy when I watched this movie, but assuming you're right about the timing, this is important because?

  • Now, I'm not a fan of the lousy pop music that's labeled R'n'B these days, and I'm certainly not a Beyonce fan, but her portrayal of the brash teenager who nearly destroyed her life by getting strung out was simply amazing, powerful and subtle.

The fellow who played Little Walter also gave a terrific performance. Although the script he had to follow was mostly fantasy, he caught the essence of Walter Jacobs' personality.
