Thank you very much, My grandpa thought me this method but you have actually shown me some new things that improve upon his method. One thing I am confused about though is how you got that little loop to join the the lace at the very end. Have been playing around trying to figure it out, but I can not get anything that looks like that and works as well. My finished end looks okay but is not as clean.
@Zissou1107 The "strap" is a pre-cut 1/8 inch (3.175mm) wide leather lace. Yes, you can cut lace yourself with a lace cutter. The needle is a 1190-00 two-prong lacing needle. All of these items can be found on our websites

What strap is that? Can i do it on my own? Just cut thin leather into straps?
And what kind of neadle is that?
