A fairly boring review. I have an HTC Magic and its major let down for me is the camera. Its bloody awful with terrible motion blur so if the camera in a phone is important to you take note of this.

It seems pointless carrying around 2 devices when one device does just as well. I have never used my iPod since having an iPhone.

The Magic is good, but still a long way off the iPhone. The Google Nexus One on the other hand is the one to watch.

I have this Phone, And Yes it is Amazing but there are some Programs you can Download from the Android Market Place to Help with the VIdeo Downloads, and Another Bad Point is i dont think it has enough Memmory Bulit it it can become very slow and unresponsive.

I never considered anything but HTC handsets but the nokia E75 is something out of this world. Everything works on it , most importanly bbc iplayer.

Pocket PC OS of this type have been around for a long time now, other HTC phones already have all these features (HTC Dual Touch ftw).

The video basically acts as an advertisement for the phone.

HTC are usually much more innovative in my own experience, seems they've lazily jumped on the Android band wagon for this one.

and Iphones are way to restrictive, who wants to pay for their software lol.

Far better feature are you crazy!? THIS IS ANDROID! You can do anything you want with it, have whatever you want on it, do what ever you want with it. Unlike Windows Mobile which is plain crap. Open source vs Closed, I wonder which wins... As for the reviews of this video, they have no understanding of the phone either, not understanding the software will always be upgrading and if your so upset with it learn androids coding and fix it yourself :)

u r so damn right im actually inlove with this phone n cannot wait til its release date comes out in the us. ill get mine in merlot. they're so damn ungreatful at least there is a video recording option on the phone that actually works. we're not makin movies, just simply videos of memory. ugghh this review was good until they had to put just one thing down about the phone thats not even bad. hopefully itll b a 5.0 megapixel for t-mobile

while watching videos on youtube PRESS MENU AND SELECT HIGH QUALITY TO WATCH HIGH QUALITY VIDEOS!!!! how can you do a review if you dont know how to use the phone!!! while watching in high quality the videos are way better than iphone

The keyboard is so easy to type on...

The Magic won't be as popular with most tech people as virtual keyboards actually suck, take the iPhone for example.

i dont know the virtual keyboard on the iphone is very easy to type on if you give it a couple of days and trust the auto correct ive never had a problem

The video quality you are complaining is the youtube player that I suppose is receiving a lower bitrate video stream (maybe to has less intruptions and less traffic on mobile network).

But there are other video sources and streams that has a much beter quality, (for instance some videos from 1cast app)

You can always play higher quality videos (like MP3) previously copied to internal memory using default player.

Recording quality might more like be "phone video quality".
