There has to be some kind of safety regulation for lights on the vehicles. We all know someone will probably have a medical emergency because they're epileptic or something and then sue the convention to make a few bucks off it.. Sounds silly but you'd be surprised nowadays.
get sum real lights on that thing. a big rotator lightbar uptop...sum LED flashers in the grill and windshield...and some other lights. maybe hide-aways in the head&tail lights.
wow now thats just sad thats not a truck thats a fucking soccer moms car. that thing is a pussy compared to the original hummer. GM what are you doing the H1 is a beast this thing is some green fag peace save money shit fuck that. sorr its 3 am right now on a tuesday morning and im drunk but this is retarted for real this hot wheels in the wheel world and it is sad.
hey if they got to go in the woods were its muddy an no other vehicle can go that one can it can do it an save someone from mountain hiking or hunting or something idk
I want that lol thats awesome. And i dont get why paid and unpaid guys cant just get along were both going and the paid guys are still getting paid lol i mean it differs from state to state i know but hell everyone puts in there part at saving lives and property. So props to all! :)
Gah, use a Jeep Wranger, just as capable and safe (if you get the hardtop version, especially the 4-door) with better visibility and gas mileage, plus they don't carry the social stigma/taboo that Hummers and Suburbans do.
you are correct about the term Medical First responder, but I think this hummer and its title , First responder is more aimed twards the definition of first responder, "The term 'first responder' refers to those individuals who in the early stages of an incident are responsible for the protection and preservation of life, property, evidence, and the environment
Hey, no disrespect or anything but I don't entirely agree. Here in my town we (my FD) always get called to respond with EMS because they never are strong enough to lift their patients onto the stretcher. Its really quite annoying, responding full code 3 to what we are told is a critical patient, only to arrive and be asked to load up the patient then return to station...
While I'm always grateful for the Paramedics when they arrive, that's the REAL issue..."when they arrive". Fire always arrives before the ALS crew. I've kept many people from dying while waiting for the Paramedics.
Of course, you also have the issue of extrication or technical rescue. Without the Firefighters to get the patients out, the Ambulance Jockeys would have not work to do.
Yes, they are VERY important, but without Fire Department EMS response, many lives would be lost.
hmmm... at the ambulance company i run with we do the extrication and have our own rescue truck.. but i also run with a vol. fire department and we do QRS service.. so in my opinion they are both equally important. plus normally the fire department is closer than the ambulance
A fist responder is a step below an Emergency medical technician, the official name for a first responder is EMFR( Emergency medical first responder), people trained to this level should be able to operate portable defibrillators and carry out advanced first aid on the public.... that answers that!
@notar1 First responders have at least a Medical First Responder license. They are the first responders for accidents, and help triage (give patients priority) and can perform basic life saving techniques such as CPR. An MFR cannot work in the back of an ambulance, but, they can drive one.
i woulda put wig wags, a directional bar in the upper rear window, LED's on the ouside rear by the license plate, more LED's up front, something in the front windshield, and a diff. pattern for the highlighter. and mayby corner strobes
wish my department had a hummer. oh well, we just bought a new rescue truck so we're pretty much outta money right now. lol. we're plannin on buyin another set of jaws for the first responder.
VERY GOOD

It never ceases to amaze me how all of you bucket boys (wannabe firemen) think that you are the ones who save the world.
Want a real job? - Become a Paramedic.

i will agree with you on one thing, firefighters do take all the fame, but its not necesarily a better job then being a firefighter

give it a V8 or an inline Diesel and that H3 would rule.

what is a First Responder?
notar1 4 years ago
It's just a display vehicle, so I believe it has no meaning.
But if it did have a legitimate reason, it would be that they are the first ones on the scene aka the first to respond *hint hint*
squigee62090 4 years ago
no ther is a job opening for one here in oregon and trying to look up what they do ...thanx

lol...you're welcome
And I believe it's the same thing as a paramedic...
I will look into that...

Good video, but not impressed with the vehicle at all. Looks like a toy rather than a serious response vehicle.
