it can't be tsi ! I've got 1.8 tsi II after facelifting, ane it's got really better acceleration, Like skuibiza, i drove 240. Your's one over 160 don't accelerate, the same as lowest gear!
Actually VW mixed up the TSI & TFSI definitions. TSI used to be a TwinchargedStratifiedInjection. TFSI used to mean a TurbochargedFuelStratifiedInjection. Now the call both TSI no longer depending if ist obly turbocharged or super- and turbocharged ;-)
You still didn´t get it. The 1.8 is a TFSI. Turbocharged and Fuel Stratified Injection. The TSI technologie means that the engine is Twincharged. By a supercharger and a turbocharger. The only real TSI engines from VW come up as 1.4 litre engines. There is a technical difference. And the 1.8 is definitly not twincharger. It´s technically based on the 2.0 TFSI EA888 engine.
TSI = Twincharged Stratified Injection / Turbocharged Stratified Injection ! VW uses both, compressor and/or turbochargers, within these models.
Btw, the first introduced and designed EA888-type engine is the 1.8 TFSI engine, engineered by Audi. The newer 2.0 TFSI is the same engine, slightly modified. Both engines are turbo-charged only.
I know, but there are also 2.0 tsi, and that does not mean it is twincharger which you want to say is that 1.4 of 140 and 170 lead compressor and turbo, and others only know what turbo? tsi does not mean it is turbo-compressor, just marketing, so you want to say is that your car is a 1.8 tsi like mine
The 2.0 TSI is a TFSI if you take it down to the technical difference. I already wrote what TSI and TFSI stands for. VW just calles the TFSI engines TSI for marketing reasons. Audi btw doesn´t do so. Same engines but correct definitions. I have a Skoda Octavia 2008 1.8 TFSI with a MTM chiptuning. 205 PS and 305 Nm torque.
You´re just plain stupid. And now you change the topic writing stuff that doesn´t even make no sense. My car needs 7 sec from 0-100 and runs 243 km/h. Don´t think you can beat that.
and anyone who says anything to win? or if you know that we have the same car and same engine, these alomejor blind or you're a little behind schedule, and be careful to speak well of your mother!
It is a good idea not to wear the seatbelt because if you hit somebody at this speed you won't be sent to prison but somewhere else. R.I.P.
Anyway the 1,8 tsi engine is pretty cool.

But you have a Skoda Octavia 1.8 TSI 2, no TFSI, you would have bought her an Audi A3, it is only a 1.8 TFSI marketing
