What a beautiful song, and Alexi's music fits Away We Go perfectly. This song was perfect for the ending- I loved it instantly and looked it up to buy it. I'm amazed that this movie didn't get more attention from the general public, when the acting was terrific and it was so classy and well-written. It managed to be intelligent and hilarious at the same time. On top of that, it achieved the near-impossible feat of being a feel-good, happy movie without being saccharine, trite, or predictable.

I just watched this movie today. I have not seen a movie and soundtrack that moved me like this since Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. This was a beautiful and moving movie complimented by Alexi Murdoch's moving score. As for Sam Mendes the director I did not know he directed Revolutionary Road too.
