And there is no reason you should stop it. Wild hogs are a big problem in many parts of the U.S. Not only do they destroy crops and puh other non-invasive species out, like Mule deer, and turkey, but they represent a good source of meat as well. All-season hunting does nothing to curb hog numbers either, they're just too tough and reproduce too quickly.

Last weekend i went to north texas and caught a javalena. they started in mexico and are now damn near to Ok. its crazy how fast they reproduce. I can guarentee you that there will never be enough litters of pups born or enough hog hunters to get rid of em but idc. Im doin my part just like these guys.

@cwarrior3 well the good thing is Michigan is stepping up ans has passed some laws that will allow us to kill wild pigs and we don't have to worry about breaking the law. I have a CPL license so that allows me to kill any wild pig whenever i see one last month i was driving and spotted one jumped out of my truck and killed the little fucker with my .40 cal pistol but these pigs are good at reproducing they say we have around 5000 pigs right now in 5 years that number will be a lot higher

@kalzx Pretty much nothing. You just cant hunt them at night with a light or firearm. The season is open year round. I hunt mostly at night with my dogs. But i dont kill the hogs when i catch em, ill hobble them and take them back to a pen and sell them to some buddies to butcher or something. The ODWC is pretty leaniant about killing methods of hogs because theres just soo many of them around here.
