The thing that pisses me off the most are all the stupid atavistic old people that believe every bit of contrived rhetoric spewed out of these spin talk shows like Shawn Hannity. It makes me even more mad when they adopt those one liners from those shows that tell them how to have some kind of justified contradiction in an argument about things like the invasion of Iraq. First it was he has weapons, next its we need to get rid of him, now its "well he would have done it if he had them"
Report from president John McCain My fellow Americans there is not time to talk to our enemies we must use force now and attack Iran even if doing so means they will enter Iraq and kill Many more of our people then the insurgents, so we will also have no choice but to invade Iran even thought it mean thousands upon thousand of American troops will die, but I dont care cause I'm not human. Oh did I mention taxes will need to be raise someone got to pay for all this fun.yee ha
Oh no, he won't raise taxes. He'll just let the defecit go up into the gazillions, and keep printing off money until the U.S. dollar is worth less than a chewed up wad of bubble gum, and we'll all be paying $500 for a gallon of gasoline. But that's okay, as long as he overturns Roe vs. Wade and we are all allowed to own M-16s, it's all worth it. It's the Christian way! Those guns sure will come in handy when you're starving to death and you need to kill your neighbor for a can of pork & beans.
Laddies and gentlemen I present to you the president of these United State a eleven term congressman from Texas Ron Paul. Now we can down to the business of putting our country back together and present to the world the hope of peace and a safer world.
i dont thimk mccain is a bad guy but i dont think he will do a good job as president, nor hilary, oh so i guess obama is all that is left this sucks!!!!!!
He was not praising Saddam. He was critisising Abe and he did that very eloquently.
In any case this video has nothing to do with Saddam or Abe. I do not agree with all SA's videos, but I do not judge all of his views by just looking at one or two clips.
Mcain Sucks! He flip flopped on the Confederate flag. Has anyone else heard about him ALSO Being a surgeon General, right? I guess not, because he was with the campaign that said 'ciggarettes are good for you' look it up, in the 70's.
As outlandish as people may think that assertion is at first glance, I have to agree. Nearly every republican I know HATES John McCain. Even my parents and grandparents, who are usually typical republican loyalists, hate John McCain as well.
I hope that somehow though, (assuming the republicans will lose this presidential election, and that they won't rig the elections) that a better, back to the roots-type republican party can re-emerge in 2012. It's doubtful though.

McCain is a pragmatist. He's rational and practical. So he's not always towing party line, Republicans need to understand that he is running for President of the United States, not of the Republican Party. I was for Fred for many of the same reason many Repubs dont like McCain. I knew he would not win - far too honest about need for non military budget cuts. Ron Paul.. Honest but completely unconcerned with vital motors of society. Btw, Hillary is better than BO - at least shes competant.
I was gonna vote for McCain, no lie... and then I learned a bit about politics... and then I learned A LOT about politics... and then I decided to vote for Ron Paul. He didn't cure my apathy, he cured my ignorance. Knowledge is Freedom!
Excellent! Each and every mind we wake up, will never return to its prior state. Because of that simple fact, we WILL win in the end. It's just a matter of time. And each mind that we wake up, means that the *rate* at which people are waking up, increases. Technically, we could even do it in time for Nov 4. We *could* wake up another 60 milllion people, and have ourselves a first-ever write-in winner. Don't give up waking people up - EVER! We WILL win. We each determine WHEN. What power!
Current U.S.A.,the state of a country living in excess: Society unbalanced, over importance on monetary & material wealth, excess govt. power = corrupt govt. = colluding with big business = more corruption = public apathy = public unawareness of corruption = public ignorance = further corruption. It's an endless downward spiral, until things get bad enough & people wake up."In a oppressed society a great man becomes a leader, In a comfortable & complacent society a great man becomes an outcast"
McCain and Hillary are identical. We have officially been taken over by corporatism. Say good bye to the labor union. good bye to your car unless u can afford 6 dollars a gallon. say good bye to freedom of speech and a long list of other constitutional freedoms we were born with.
Very well put! Bush IS one of the most liberal, free-spending Presidents of all time, so there's a bizarre quality to the backlash McCain generates among mainstream conservatives and talk radio.
Even though I do not like McCain, this is not entirely accurate. He is eligible because he was born on a US military base to US military parents who were born in the US. I know this because I am from the Panama Canal Zone (but not military). So he is eligible but I still will not vote for him.

Very good one, SA. The average GOP voter is probably a decent person. However, the GOP leadership seems firmly committed to expanded war, open-borders, amnesty and Big Government at ahome. I simply can't stomach his politics and will not be voting for this supposed "lesser of two evils" come Novemeber.

Irregardless SA, Republicans and Conservatives must vote for him if for abortion if nothing else. If the Conservative movement can survive 8 years of neo-connery(Paul proved it could), it can survive 8 years of centre-rightism. We are so close to a seminal victory, too close for litmus tests and ideological purity.
Sorry paddy but one wedge issue on abortion will not convince some of us that easily. A defeat for not supporting a candidate with no conservative principle means simply a defeat for a candidate with no conservative principles. I only vote for Ron Paul lets hope that some else will run as independent because Ron will not! is the first time on my 38 years that I realy believe a polytitian and I hate how the media shot him down!! the stableshiment is very powerfull we are all slaves of the world bank for sure
Is there any wonder why Obama is doing so well? He doesn't have any real msg of course, and only part of the equation is that he is a "minortity". Repubs have painted themselves into a corner...its hard line or nothing. Dems have it easy with the msg of "change", but who to vote for...the woman or the negro ( I can't tell the differance between the two)
Well, if it comes down to Hillary/Obama vs. McCain, I would reluctantly take McCain over both of them. Not because he is the GOP candidate, but solely because the next administration has a good chance of appointing some judges to the Supreme Court, and I would take a neoconservative justice like Roberts/Alito over a Liberal one like Ginsberg/Souter. Hopefully in 2012 or 2016 we will have a paleocon candidate with a fighting chance. Ron Paul Candidacy 2008 RIP.
You are certainly a man of principle(sarcasm). Personally I would not support any of them! There is no lesser of two evils when you are left out in the cold.
insult my character all you want, but what you people don't get is that, its over. Its McCain vs. Hillary/Obama. I am in no way going out there and supporting them. They are all asshats in my opinion. With that being said, I am not solid on voting for McCain. With that being said, would you yourself take a 3 term of George Bush? or a 3rd term of Bill Clinton?
If I have a preference(someone who stands for a morality I believe in) I will vote for them. If the rest suck I dont vote. I dont vote at all- voting is compulsory. You can vote for Clinton/Bush/McCain/Obama all you want meanwhile I will be throwing stuff at my T.V. while drinking a beer.
Well have fun then, because as laviciousness pointed out, there will be a couple justices retiring in a couple years, and I would rather have a McCain appointed judge, than a Hillary/Obama progressive judge appointed to the supreme court.
So is your principle to just stay home on Election Day as opposed to choosing someone more likely to nominate a principled constitutionalist justice for the Supreme Court? Or are you just not aware that Justice Stevens is on his last leg now, and a Democratic President will give us another Breyer or Ginsberg?
Just because you think principles matter to you doesn't mean that they don't matter to people who make reality-based decisions.
Do you really think that who is elected justice of the supreme court really matters when you get another Bush in office? These people act autonomously.
First of all, Justices aren't "elected", since this isn't about popular votes. Second, if you think that George Bush's Justice nominations is a good indicator of who we'll get to replace Stevens under McCain, then yes the choice between McCain and Hillary/Obama really matters.
By the way SA. You sure like to toss around the word "Hate". Hate this hate that. Might it simply be "disagreement". I have never hated anyone in my life. Let alone a political figure. I might makean exception for you however.
I never said paul was another Hitler or Stain. I meant that people are easily mislead, and fooled into following poor leaders, and dangerous leaders. And really canot tell you why they follow them.
What is this love affair with Ron Paul? can you imagine him in the oval office? Uhm...No. It just goes to show how easily the masses can be mislead. Millions still revere Hitler and Stalin. Ron Paul? Get real....
Dr. Paul is hardly a Hitler or a Stalin, who, in matters of policy, have more in common with any of the other candidates for president than the good Doctor.
If you could care less about both parties, like me, DO NOT vote 3rd party! Write in Ron Paul. If it doesn't matter anyway, then screw it! Write him in as a protest!
Vote 3rd party anyways gents! We don't need to not vote or vote for the lesser of two evils. It sucks, but lets do our best to build up one of the third party candidates that speaks truth as Ron Paul did. The rEVOLution lives on!

mccain is the bob dole of 2008 - he has no chance to win, thankfully. when real conservatives (buchanan, paul) run for president they get smeared with the racist/nazi/anti-semite label.
don t you see there putting a dead horse into the race so there chosen horse has a real chance the only way we can stop there chosen horse is to stop there dead horse with our dark horse GO PAUL 2008 ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!1
I'm dumbfounded. Someone please tell me where conservationism has gone? If someone as liberal as McCain can take the GOP nomination I fear conservatism is dead. I guess if you yell terrorist enough people will follow anyone down any path.
70% of Americans are against the war, both of these idiots tells about more war and higher taxes. My fellow Americans, ARE YOU RETARDED? Who is voting for these "people"?
I've been a Republican my whole life but I will never ever vote for McCain. I would rather vote for Hilary Clinton who I despise than McCain who left Americans in Vietnam to die just to keep his records secret. Search YouTube for "Vietnam Veterans Against McCain"
I love those Ron Paul Posts. Its true i know a very Republican women who always comments on the looks of the Runners. Whats that? Bush cant put three words together without stopping to think (great moments in presidential history, David Letterman). Are people so shallow that they care about looks more than how much someone can help your family? Ron Paul never has to think before speaking, he's honest and believes in us, and i mean all of us.
Its why its so comical to hear these talk show hosts in meltdown. Excluding that crappy little tax cut, he's Bush on steroids. Hearing them talk about "us grassroots" vs. "those establishment types" is hilarious and pathetic.
mcaain is a spoiled little prima donna with delusions of grandeur. He never would have gotten where he is today had it not been for his admiral daddy. He's completely willing to sellout this country to mexico and throw the republican party under the bus just to suck up to liberal jackasses so he can be president. I can't believe he has gotten so much mileage just from being a POW. I'm reluctantly voting for hillary so Mitt Romney can whip ass in 2012
Good stuff SA, if Ron Paul were younger, had the hair of Romney and shouted about Reagan a lot, the Republican Party would probably have a conservative nominee right now.

If it comes down to Hillary/Obama vs. McCain we're screwed again for another 4yrs. so it wont really matter what anyone thinks.
wilfredsnipple 4 years ago
Wilfredsnipple: Of course we are screwed. But i'll choose the lesser of 2 evils.

You are certainly a man of principle(sarcasm). Personally I would not support any of them! There is no lesser of two evils when you are left out in the cold.
wilfredsnipple 4 years ago
"You are certainly a man of principle(sarcasm)."
insult my character all you want, but what you people don't get is that, its over. Its McCain vs. Hillary/Obama. I am in no way going out there and supporting them. They are all asshats in my opinion. With that being said, I am not solid on voting for McCain. With that being said, would you yourself take a 3 term of George Bush? or a 3rd term of Bill Clinton?
Your choice.
CAwillruletheworld 4 years ago
CA
If I have a preference(someone who stands for a morality I believe in) I will vote for them. If the rest suck I dont vote. I dont vote at all- voting is compulsory. You can vote for Clinton/Bush/McCain/Obama all you want meanwhile I will be throwing stuff at my T.V. while drinking a beer.
wilfredsnipple 4 years ago
Well have fun then, because as laviciousness pointed out, there will be a couple justices retiring in a couple years, and I would rather have a McCain appointed judge, than a Hillary/Obama progressive judge appointed to the supreme court.
CAwillruletheworld 4 years ago
So is your principle to just stay home on Election Day as opposed to choosing someone more likely to nominate a principled constitutionalist justice for the Supreme Court? Or are you just not aware that Justice Stevens is on his last leg now, and a Democratic President will give us another Breyer or Ginsberg?
Just because you think principles matter to you doesn't mean that they don't matter to people who make reality-based decisions.
laviciousness 4 years ago
laciviousness
Do you really think that who is elected justice of the supreme court really matters when you get another Bush in office? These people act autonomously.
wilfredsnipple 4 years ago
First of all, Justices aren't "elected", since this isn't about popular votes. Second, if you think that George Bush's Justice nominations is a good indicator of who we'll get to replace Stevens under McCain, then yes the choice between McCain and Hillary/Obama really matters.
laviciousness 4 years ago
By the way SA. You sure like to toss around the word "Hate". Hate this hate that. Might it simply be "disagreement". I have never hated anyone in my life. Let alone a political figure. I might makean exception for you however.

I never said paul was another Hitler or Stain. I meant that people are easily mislead, and fooled into following poor leaders, and dangerous leaders. And really canot tell you why they follow them.
ozzyzoe 4 years ago
What is this love affair with Ron Paul? can you imagine him in the oval office? Uhm...No. It just goes to show how easily the masses can be mislead. Millions still revere Hitler and Stalin. Ron Paul? Get real....
ozzyzoe 4 years ago

Write him in as a protest!
txnwinterbride 4 years ago 5
Vote 3rd party anyways gents! We don't need to not vote or vote for the lesser of two evils. It sucks, but lets do our best to build up one of the third party candidates that speaks truth as Ron Paul did. The rEVOLution lives on!

"According to the official US rules McCain can not be president."
Not true. A "natural born citizen" includes anyone born outside the U.S., whose parents are U.S. citizens, so long as at least one of them previously resided in the U.S.

How can McCain even run for president since he was born in Panama and not the United States?
Bugil2000 4 years ago
Doesn't matter where you're born, as long as you are a US citizen at the time of birth.

He was born on a US military base in Panama, to a military family.

mccain is the bob dole of 2008 - he has no chance to win, thankfully. when real conservatives (buchanan, paul) run for president they get smeared with the racist/nazi/anti-semite label.
why and by whom?

I love those Ron Paul Posts. Its true i know a very Republican women who always comments on the looks of the Runners. Whats that? Bush cant put three words together without stopping to think (great moments in presidential history, David Letterman). Are people so shallow that they care about looks more than how much someone can help your family? Ron Paul never has to think before speaking, he's honest and believes in us, and i mean all of us.

Thanks SA. Agree completely.
