i did that line last year.. the best part was when you finally got to the front & some rude tour directors were telling their groups to cut into the line in front of us!
i'm italian and i live in rome this line is every day i think that with this hot summer is impossible to do this line but is true :( this people are crazy :P
I'm from Rome too and I think that this queue is normal just the first sunday of the month because the museum is free (instead of 13 euros in normal days)
wtf by the time you get in you have enough time to take a piss and go home
