I think Nikon is the same: My Canon 5D Mark II has the ability to adjust the RGB balances. I have not come across any real good explanation of using this capability. One of the questions I have is can you adjust the settings on the RGB balance in place of colored filters? Is this its purpose? Note: My camera makes duplicates of the shots with these color adjustments. In fact I can do "color bracketing" e.g by coming up with 3 pics for every 1 and 9 pics for every 3 during a bracketing shot
What's the bag? I might get something like this. Do you think it's airport "certified" cause I don't know if you can have those light stands sticking out like that.
Great video like always... quick question do you use filters on your lenses if you do would you mind telling me the brand of the filters (UV, CPL, and GND) also I am having some issue with flash batteries running out quickly what do you suggest to help me with this problem. Thanks
@dk2893 havent used cpl for a long tme but should get myself one some time. the gnd are by cokin which i have done a video on and uv are just lens protectors.
How do you attach the rosco strobist gells to the flashes. I noticed that you had no Velcro on the flash. I know the sb-900's have a holder but as a sb-600 owner I don't. Thanks
hey dom, i really am interested in your rechargeable batteries and charger. i know you did a video on the differences between nimh vs. others, etc. can you tell us what brand of rechargeables (AA batts)/chargers you use? and how long a set of batts will last you before you have to recycle them? thanx
Good stuff dom... its amazin g what you can pack in to these bags.. i have the lowepro computrekker plus AW on order and can't wait to try it. finally can carry al lmy gear in 1 bag. will post unboxing and review video/article when i get it. off to watch the shoot video now.... good stuff.
i need a tripod for my nikon d5000, and i would use it for macro too. so i need it to "go low" and extend also. something for a tight budget maybe? :) tnx, and regards from Slovenia!
nice one again big man, and may i just wish you and your family a very merry christmas and a happy new year. Great work this year and i look forward to more videos in 2010.
whoa... i wished my bag could carry that much stuff
but i didnt want a well known camera bag brand like lowepro so i bought a burton snow board camera back to make it look like im a hiker and instead of a photographer *lower profile*
Proper Planning and Preparation Prevents Poor Performance - Really enjoy your uploads, extremely interesting.

Was wondering the same? No full frames for the shoot? The actual shoot had very low light and the D700 could have made the shoot more interesting.

Why do you have as a second camera a Fuji instead of a Nikon?
DuffmanzBeer 2 years ago
cos the fuji is amazing! if fuji bring out a s6 ill buy that over any nikon d800 or d3! ask any portrait photographer and they will say the same.
dombower 2 years ago 3
@dombower do the fuji use the same lens bajonets?
