@sanluiskaren first, go to l4d(dot)com/blog and then find the link to download it. after that, put the vpk file in:

C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/l­eft 4 dead 2/left4dead2/addons/

and your done! to play it, open up left 4 dead 2, click on single player, go to the drop menu to pick out a campain, go to add on campain, pick out One 4 Nine, then click play.

@spiderman14321432 Not at all, the base where they are being taken is not in the nevada and is a little base with no undergrounds. The survivors first wanted to go to Echo base, which has more weapons and is more armored. The base where they go is quickly filld up with zombies and everybody leaves it.

Let me explain. This just raw pure speculation, but I gather that the creator of this campaign is a Arthur C. Clarke fan. This Borrows from "2001 A Space Odyssey" and "Childhoods End". The monolith awakens human ascension into the stars stealing their individuality leaving them as feral soulless shells ( aka zombies) In the end the four of them ascend from their bodies and into the celestial conglomerate intelligence. Hope this explains!

Probably no one will read this, but One 4 Nine is a reference to the Film and indeed Books 2001: A Space Odyssey. the following books were 2010: Odyssey Two and 3001: The Final Odyssey. The Monoliths portrayed in those books and that film have dimensions in the exact ratio of 1:4:9, squares of the first three integers (1, 2, 3), and are black. the math and words/symbols at 3:28 are a reference to where, in the film, Monoliths are found on the moon and orbiting Europa, one of Jupiters moons.

@Dalekman4132 If you've seen 2001 A Space Odyssey and read the books by Arthur C Clarke you'd understand. The ending is the 4 of them having their "souls" or their mind to meld with the Monolith. They are now programs on the Monolith to serve a greater purpose. Just like what happened to Dave Bowman. So they're immortal and now alien programs. Pretty weird I know but thats what happens when you interact with the Monolith.
