It's funny how the video makes it look like he goes off the accelerator much too early before every corner, naturally he's busy braking but since the car doesn't dive much under breaking, it just looks like he lets go of the accelerator, then coasts on idle towards the corners. In car you would probably notice your face getting torn off by the braking, but on the video it looks like he's taking it easy.

Also, if you look at the video, he sets off around 0:02 and finishes about 1:20, which would be 1:18 +/- half a second or so, because we lack precision.

The 'power laps' shown on Top Gear are NEVER an actual lap because they don't have cameras at every corner....instead the camera crew move around the track whilst the Stig does multiple laps and then they edit all the bits together,

No. They're not. 0:26 0:28 1:03 1:12 there are clearly cameras by the side of the track. Pause the video and you'll see.

@warset never said it isn't the top gear test track... But if you watch the footage from top gear, some of the corners are driven in a different way than on this vid.... But me and some other guy already stated that at the end it is stig because of the gloves he's wearing here and that top gear production office only shows the good shots where you can see the stig's great driving skills...

you're right there, just went through the other vid and well they've got the same gloves and if you watch this video and then the other you can see the cameras which are filming this car from outside and the shots are on the top gear one, so i guess you're right saying that they only throw the nice parts of the lap in and don't bother with showing the actual lap. They did that once with the celebrity in liana where they show the cabin shotm you could see two different seat models :)

@screamosux I dont think so, on the recorded run, he locks up the front tire on the first turn, and he drifts out of the second turn, both of which aren't in the video
