  • This song WAS released to the public, but only in Quebec, i've the album at my home, of the band Fluid Rouge.

  • PART 4

    (solo)

Je suis Anglophone québecois, how do you do?

Désolé pour mon accent, but what can I do?

    (Chorus:

    Its hard

    [ . . . ]

Him : Célibataire? (What the hell does that mean?) Non Her: Cochon!]
  • Here are the lyrics :

    PART 1

Je suis Anglophone québecois, how do you do?

Désolé pour mon accent, but what can I do?

    Its hard

    Cest dur.

    Être pris,

    Entre deux cultures

  • I LOVE that song!!!

    Hahaha!

    C'est juste trop vrai!!

And I totally agree with a previous comment, people and quebec should totally try to get along, francophone comme anglophone!!

  • Hey can anyone translate this song for us "stupid Americans". I love it, but I'm sure it's even better when you can understand it! Thanks

  • it's in the first few comments

  • Hey, nice song! But... is that one of the "there's gotta be something wrong with that guy"-hats in 0:20? :D

  • haha i think it is!

    i think jons hiding something...

    lol

  • Yeahh Jon lajoie en francais Good idea !!!!!!!

He should do more than one video

  • Wow jon en francais STI! That shit moterfucking rocks !

  • Et je te remercie pour ça :-)...

  • Ça fait plaisir ;)

  • love this song!

  • Wow, I didn't understand why I got this video in my research when I wrote "Jon Lajoir french" but after I got a good look at the singer AND read the info, I got it... sooooo Jon Lajoie is indeed bilingual, I wasn't sure, anyways, gonna see if there are more songs of this band than this one.

This one really rocks, he (they) is (are) the kind of anglophone(s) who make me happy to be attached to Canada, even if I'm separatist... :)

  • This song is frikkin good.

I agree on everything they say in it.

french and english peoples should cooperate in quebec.

    I'm french for the info.

  • They are great. But I'm really sad cause it's impossible to find their cd in my country (Poland). It's pretty nice to find "other side" of Jon Lajolie which until today I used to connect only with rapist glasses and his other funny videos on youtube. Music awesome! Jon awesome! Fluid Rogue awesome!

  • I'm pretty sure the album is on itunes. It's also available on many websites.

  • It indeed is.

  • Beau message!

  • this song is great! Sometimes I still need my Bescherelle :p

  • The words already in english are placed between [] to avoid confusion. The french one that must stay in french are placed between ().

*[Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Introducing first, in the red corner,

    Sir William Shakespeare!]*

I am an english quebecker, [how do you do]?

Sorry for my accent [but what can I do]?

I love signing in this beautiful language

But to conjugate I always need my Bescherelle.

    CHORUS

    [It's hard], it's hard,

    Being stucked, between two cultures.

  • *And in the blue corner, Jean-Baptiste Poquelin said Molière! Molière!*

If I would have studied more I'd be proud of my french, [ah shit!],

Yeah yeah I know, I know, the ''(si)'' doesn't like the ''(rais)'',

I have difficulties with this very complicated language,

English is simpler, we say ''[fuck you]'' or ''[fuck me]''!

  • CHORUS

    [It's hard], it's hard,

    Being stucked, between two cultures.

It's not my fault if I don't understand what you say to me.

The most important is to love each others, without compromise.

I've seen a fine girl and I wanted to speak to her,

With my accent I was certain to charm her[hey baby],

When she asked me if I was (célibataire),

*- Are you (célibataire)? - (Célibataire)? [What the hell does that mean?]. Huh... no? - PIG! *slaps* *

    *NOTE* (Célibataire) means single.

  • But she left, (esti), I didn't have my dictionary. *NOTE* (Esti) is one of our most precious swear in Quebec. :P CHORUS [It's hard], it's hard, Being stucked, between two cultures. It's not my fault if I don't understand what you say to me. The most important is to love each others, without compromise. [So long] I am an english quebecker, [how do you do]? Sorry for my accent [but what can I do]? I love signing in this beautiful language It looks like I'm in third grade.
  • CHORUS

    [It's hard], it's hard,

    Being stucked, between two cultures.

It's not my fault if I don't understand what you say to me.

The most important is to love each others, without compromise.

*NOTE* That's it. Not sure if it's perfect, but I hope it helps at least. Thanks for reading. And yeah, Jon is a great comedian. I really enjoy watching his stuff (not the sort of stuff that goes in the muff). And yeah, I'm crazy for writing long comments like that. Keep showing your genitals.

  • Oh Jon!

  • "Oh Jon! How good looking you are! How strong you are! How talented you are! And how much better you are with a beard [we're almost there (??)]...

If it doesn't work with Britney Spears it'll be me that you'll have to marry!"

Discovered this link through McGilles and loved the song. Forwarded to all my anglo friends who have struggled through french :)

  • "Déjà qu'on y est" means "since we're already at it". As in "since you mention it", for example. In this case it kinda means "since I'm already rambling about you". :)

  • women don't like boys they like car and money

  • Someone please translate this!
