@texasdeathseen This is true. Placebo are an incredibly talented band, with a very wide range of sounds and styles. They are certainly not tied down with sounding the same all the time. This is where real creativity is to be found. Brian Molko's voice is utterly incredible. I've been listening to a lot of their B-Sides lately, and their range is brilliant. The lyrics in this song in particular are amazing. Tells a real story about what is possible.

This song is about suicide. And its my story(it freaks me out sometimes still how every word is what happened to me), except that I chugged pills. If you listen to it closely you'll realize it, haemoglobin is reference to blood and blood is what keeps you alive.But this song I guess can mean many things for many people.

This song is about racism.  He was hanging from a tree because he was lynched then hung. He believed jesus was looking down on him because of what happened to him and wondering why he deserved such a fate.
