I mean things are looking good now, but there can be 1 lil thing to mess it all up, and with my luck it aint impossible. So i'm not getting any hopes up yet.
LoL if you had the eye, you'd see i did a bit of masking, the effects etc was there to match beats, instroments and tempo. I have used masking for the guitar strings and cookie cutter for drum ripple.
Also if you notice starting from 00.54-00.58 i used 2 layers with mask to follow the coloured moving object on screen to the B&W background, and expanded it on the cymbal beat. there a few more details, but this is a slightly less obvious amv, and it would take a pro to spot it ;)
lol it's mot hard at all, i mean anybody can do it... most of the things u used in here are not eye catching, people will start to loose intrest and ur obviously supposed to match the beats with the effects.. why don't u make a new one to enter in the amv contest? i always make a new one like in 5 minutes :)
I noticed, you dont take much time on them, i have already past the stage of, obvious, OTT effects, but they are amatuerish.
I have moved on and prefer to stick to soft, meaningful story AMVs with lots of detail. Although i have been craving making a OTT action rock AMV, but i have had PC troubles and have lost Vegas 8.0 so i need to go through all the downloading stages again.
Dang, I gotta say, this was pretty solid for your first Vegas AMV. If it weren't in the description I would've mistaken you for someone more experienced ;) 5/5

wow, freaking pro man...this is definately one of the better Pale Cacoon AMV's i've seen to date. i wasn't really sure what to expect coming into it and the song was pretty slow and quiet so i was a bit skepticle in the beginning but the way you managed everything just pulled me in and wouldn't let me go. keep up this amazing work man, definately a 5/5 and faves...just wow bro. ^_^

Thnak you very much dude.. When i was watching the anime, due to it being so short it was hard to compress the whole thing into a few mins, but spread it our right.
I think i managed to capture the right mood in the end, soim kinda proud lol.

A teeny tiny bit off timing, but not too noticeable. Song was a little too slow for my tastes, and I don't really know much about the anime so I can't really comment on the story... but You did an awesome job.

it was mainly just cookie cutter and masking, the bricks and shades u speak of are made via mask. chek out 1.36-1.39.
And while your at it i'll post you my first Vegas AMV probs ur type of OTT, full of effects type
