Gosh, i love the instrumental cover of this song. And the singning, of course, is also beautiful. This is one of the most.... powerful songs of Kamelot, if you understand what i mean...
Btw, anyone knows if there are any other bands who has done cds that tell a story like Kamelots Blach halo an Epica? Just curious...
@EvilChickFromSweden A bit late, coz you asked this like six month ago, but if you are still looking for concept albums like this, try Ayreon - The Human Equation. That album tells a story about a guy who is in a coma after a car accident. A lot of great singers appear on that album, including Mike Akerfeldt from Opeth and James Labrie from Dream Theater.
Anyway, this song is great! I listen to it over and over again. The only bad thing about it, is that it doesn't last any longer.
@EvilChickFromSweden Iced Earth has like five. Granted, they're not really power or symphonic metal like Kamelot, they're more heavy metal/thrash metal. But... I think they're good, and Night of the Stormrider, Dark Saga, Framing Armageddon, and the Crucible of Man are all concept albums, and Horror Show and the Glorious Burden are both themed albums.
Take the albums Epica and the Black Halo and put them in chronological order from release date and they compose an opera that is Kamelot's rendition of Gothe's classic Faust.
Helena is the leading female role and she fell in love with Ariel, the leading male role, after becoming pregnant with his child he left her and in her grief she commited suicide.
