  • You're right, just because someone's non-disabled, doesn't make them happier.

  • You are part of the worldwide community changing attitudes. This community has millions of members worldwide. Keep broadcasting because things are changing and will continue to change. It is a slow and never ending process.

    One way of getting people to understand disability is for them to become disabled themselves and WOOAAAAHHH! They will experience first hand the attitude and lifestyle changes themselves. WELL DONE YOU. A GOOD VIDEO.

  • Why is it always "disabled" people? Most people can do at least some things. They are "abled", too.

    I try to treat every person, "disabled" or not, as an equal, and I try not to forget how valuable independence is.

    But it's not always because of pity that people offer help. Sometimes it's compassion or sympathy. I think those are different feelings, and alot less negative than pity. It kinda seems that you make judgments about others by assuming that they are judging you.
