What's a stray pit bull running through a train anyways? I know they were rough with it , but pit bulls need to be treated rough and they should be banned. It is prohibited both under the Indian Penal Code and the PCA Act. There are multiple humane methods of catching India's free-roaming dogs that do not put the catchers at risk of getting bitten. And they are cheaper than this illegal method.

The ones which are too violent are killed. Almost none of the Indian stray dogs out there today are themselves abandoned pets. These dogs have been around for centuries all over Asia, and with urbanization and increase in population density, their numbers have gone up as well and they have become a menace.

By getting the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation to implement proper dog population control measures, Ahmedabad will be a much better place for the humans who live there, especially for the urban poor and their children, who are the most common victims of dog bite and rabies. Wide dissemination of this video was part of the way to get them to change their ways -- ways that were not only cruel to dogs, but harmful for amdavadis as well.
