Now were left eith a monopoly that's got all kinds of contract issues with their fighters and saturating tv with their events and ppvs. I don't hate UFC, but things need to go back to the way they were with friendly competition.

Is this monopoly ultimately good for the sport? I don't think so. Too many good fighters going to waste. Bad for the fans.

That's because the WEC isn't as well known as the UFC! If you have the option to fight choose 1 between the organization anyone would choose the UFC over WEC! Tito 10-9'd that 1st, the 2nd could have been 10-9 to either fighter, it was close. The 3rd - Tito did Nothing. He stumbled around from being gassed like Baroni did in his 2nd/3rd rd. That 3rd could have easily been scored 10-8 Griffin just because of the Octagon Control, Aggression & volume of strikes. A lot of people think you have to put someone nearly away with 10-8, however that's incorrect; just merely dominate it.

I'm not a fan of either tito or forrest, and i couldn't agree more with what you're saying about the first 2 rounds. but even if the 3rd round were scored 10 - 8 as you say, forrest would only be able to manage a 29, as i felt tito won the first round, denying forrest a 10 for that round. There's been a few circumstances in recent times where some of the judges decisions have really been inaccurate, and it's something that is very hard to always get correct, but i'm sure they can improve on it.

I never said Griffin should have won via 3 10pt rounds (30); infact.. I said in the opening sentence "30-27 is way off".

I could easily see that fight being scored as such:

1st rd : 10-9 : Tito

2nd rd : 10-9 : Griffin

3rd rd : 10-8 : Griffin

Total : 29-27 Griffin, or 29-28 (if you score the 3rd 10-9 instead of 10-8).

That's a completely realistic result for Griffin winning.

Could not agree more on the 3rd round, was really pathetic from tito's end, he threw only a handful of attacks in that round, and 2 very half-hearted attempts at a takedown, both completely stopped by griffin. Reason for this could be that tito felt he had one the first 2 rounds, and only needed to defend himself inn the 3rd round in order for a win, that being said, it backfired on him if that was his plan haha.
