The idea of it's alright. Sound is distorted though. You had the gain of the microphone turned up way too high so the vocals clip. Next time while recording keep an eye on the light for it, usually a red one.

I agree with htlmdriver. Rework the first few seconds. Recitation is great but the first few "never be another etc." tend to over shadow the message of the spoken word. Once the song starts the message is great, vocals almost lost in the music track - microphone seems about to let the vocal break up. Production is good, mix needs retouch for the vocals stand out more, the lyrics are too good to be buried by the drums. All this because you asked for feedback. It has greatness. Let it out its Good

Good song aside from the obvious signal clipping issues. The girl's good too, just too high in the mix. I would throw some reverb on her voice and double track it. (make her sound etherial). Also, video wise I would shoot her from the side maybe looking up never directly at the camera, that's your part. I'm not sure I would ever even have you both in the same shot. The jury is still out on the mask. (and loose the paper you're holding) Definitely catchy though! Will share.
