But wait if I contact a 1000 a day email, 1/10th is 1 a day. He closes 10 - 12 a month, I close 25 - 30 & I do it in less time! Educ8 yourself get skills make cash!!!

I have a regular fulltime job (35k/yr), and I have a internet business through eBay. I buy my items through estate sales, goodwill, Craigslist and garage sells. Just goofing off, I make between $500 to $1000 a month doing parttime work. Its all about preparation and doing your homework. Yes, eBay fees are high, but if know how to get your item extremely low, the fees should not impact you that much. I'm using the rest of this year to focus my business so next year would be even better.

I would have made money if it hadn't been for the UPS and Ebay setting people up with back door shipping charges that do nothing but rip your off. I could give it another shot I go like to go to yard sales and the like I was thinking of getting some conXboxes and operating from there. Will do this when check starts to roll.

I liked the idea of buying something in Walmart on clearance and selling it getting a profit. @cdltpx Get real familar with the requirements when shipping USPS/UPS. If you know them well, you can take advance of it, and produce somewhat of a profit when shipping.

Use the Ebay USPS tool to find the best prices and make sure you have a scale to properly weigh your packages. Once you get a better sense of price you will figure out whats good for ebay and what isn't. We ship smaller items and use First Class 90% of the time now. Very cheap and fast.
Yes the internet business (e-commerce) can be profitable, but there are times when you don't make a dime. It's about the demand and a person's interest in your services or products. Blog's are the way to go. And/or ebay/craiglist flips. I'm planning a blog as well, so I'm learning the ppc, seo, affiliate marketing ect.ect. My niche doesn't have many good ones and the largest one is corporate ran so it sucks big time! I've been following John Chow and Michael Dunlap's models materials. I have a few niche product's that craigslist seller's virtually give away and ebay buyer's always pay top dollar for.
I dont recommend thrift stores cause thats a good way to pick up scabies which is a royal nightmare. Scabies has got to be the worst thing to ever get and its very hard to get rid of.

yeah the internet doesn't have much potential for revenue. Ive done about as much as I can to maximize my revenue and I dont make a whole lot. Better than minimum wage especially with the tax perks but below the average pay in america.
