This Game lives out to its expectations but in my opinion, Call of Duty 4 is much better as its multiplayer is more sophisticated and the weapons feel great to use e.g: M4 Carbine with a Red Dot Sight will forever own a mp44.

i think this game is a really fun muckabout to keep you going until modern warfare 2 thanks to the wealth of gameplay features and deserves about an 8.5, so just take it for what it is and dont go nitpicking graphics or comparing it to modern warfare cuz otherwise your enjoyment of the game will inevitably suffer

Overall I thought this game was brilliant. The graphics were the best I've seen in any WW2 game on this generation of console. The game was very exciting, addicting, and gripping. It was very different from other WW2 games as well, giving you a completely different feel then others like BIA: HH, and is very realistic if you play on Veteran.

Not the mention the magnificent multiplayer features.

the games more fun when u play it at a friends house. its not as fun once u actually buy it. its still ok. but the graphics need improvement. resistance 2 looks so much better and thats just an average shooter. they need better textures and less blurs and pixels. they gotta have more reactive environments too. idk the graphics just look like they rushed on it which they did. i'd like to see a call of duty that is meant to last. stop making a new call of duty every year and just make one kickass.

Treyarch had almost 2 years to make this game. And while your right they basically made no innovation on the AI activity and pathfinding system(which is why the AI sucks), and placed it in a different game, your trying to criticize an out dated game for being out dated. For its time it was a good looking game, but now its not. Its stale by todays standards. You wouldn't review the original MGS today and say the graphics suck compared to Killzone 2 would you?

u have a good point. ok well resistance 2 even looked a lot better. some things looked like crap but it was still noticeably better than cod waw. somethings just look like copy and paste in some areas. they don't really take time to polish the game up. the environments need to react more to u shooting stuff. the grass looks like crap everything is low textured. its a good game but they need to stop rushing it and take their time to make an excellent game rather than an ok game

most early ps3 games had in-built achievements because of the impending "trophies" feature that was up and coming.

also, vibration functions do work on early games as i still play early games and they do indeed have vibration capabilities

I think that CoD4 makes every other fps (besides Halo 3) look worse that it actually is. Nothing will top that game for a while, and CoD5 is no exception. It's a great and fun game, but CoD4 will always win.

I agree, I beat this game the other day and it was really enjoyable. I loved the weapons and the levels were never boring and v dramatic. I found myself running into the line of fire to stop my Russian guys from shooting the Germans, really immersive stuff. Still hate the dog shooting in m'player, but I have to admit this game is great.
