It's very unlikely that evolution would create multiple intelligent lifeforms in different places in the universe and then coincidentally end up on earth, it's just not likely at all!

The people are laughing because they're at a taping for a comedy show. They waited in line in the freezing cold for hours because when they watch David Letterman at home, they enjoy laughing at him making fun of the people that come on his show. Stan Romanek comes off as a cartoonish buffoon, and his video and pictures are laughable. Just the story behind it - he thought somebody was peeping on his daughters, so he set up this camera and happened to catch this "alien" at the window. Whatever.

The people are laughing because they're at a taping for a comedy show. They waited in line in the freezing cold for hours because when they watch David Letterman at home, they enjoy laughing at him making fun of the people that come on his show. To expect them to have their minds blown by alien talk and run home to write letters to their senators about Roswell is ridiculous. And I think Letterman's interview was more considerate than needed. He just wants to know what the guy's point is.

Jeff Peckman have to deal with a lot of really sceptical and hidebound people. They are not open for an alternate truth that differs from their own.
I think Peckman acts controlled and serious. He seems like a very good person, and I admire his calmness. Jeff Peckman, from what I can tell, you're a GREAT person :)

Stan Romanek comes off as a cartoonish buffoon, and his video and pictures are laughable. Just the story behind it - he thought somebody was peeping on his daughters, so he set up this camera and happened to catch this "alien" at the window. Whatever.
I don't doubt that UFOs are "real" objects of some kind and that the govt is concealing information about them. But when researchers lend their credibility to people like Romanek, they shouldn't expect a return on investment.

The audience is laughing because its the Letterman show for goodness sake, it would be a little dry if they were quiet. (1) They're threatened by the thought of those who they consider to be "nutjobs", as to possibly being correct(in that there's life on some of the billions of planets that exist in just our own Universe). (2)They're not intelligent enough (or open enough)to believe that life could exist elsewhere, and that maybe - JUST MAYBE - some of the BILLIONS OF PLANETS just might serve a purpose other than floating aimlessly in the universe.

What's funny is that there are less of these spoffed videos and claims with the advent of seriously indistinguishable CGI. You'd think there'd be way more claims now that CGI is literally unrecognizable from the real thing.. Frame rate is still a giveaway, but if serious time and effort is put in to making it look real, believe me, you'd only know if someone were to tell you. theres alot of fake footage of the incident on the internet. I've seen part of the actual footage. To be honest, most of the fake stuff looks more authentic than the real video. Other than what was said about the video, jeff peckman had alot of intelligent things to say concerning disclosure and such.And dave's the best. Been watching him since 82. I think letterman would've cheap shotted peckman out of the building 10 years ago. A good sign that times are changing in regards to ufos.
