Being a Christian or not is a personal journey. Picking bands apart trying to determine whether they are "Christian" enough to listen to is a horrible thing. If you enjoy the music and the lyrics then keep listening to them. Not every band is going to sing "Praise God" in their lyrics, that's a different type of music called Worship. It is possible to sing about sex and death and still be a Christian. It's about the overall message they're conveying and what YOU need to hear to enrich your life.

And I agree. Everything we as christians do should be ministry based. We should live on earth serving others. That's what being a christian means. To live as Christ lived, to do as Christ did. Music was created to worship God, and Christ's life was a life or service. If what we as christians do is not ministry based what are we doing?

might have one or some christians for all i know,didn't do much research but as a band i wouldn't say they are,the song you put talks about a chic putting X's and O's in her pantie ho's.. o.O yeh i dont think so. plus they don't seem to have made it known in society they are christian, meaning not all band members are,and as a whole the band unfortunetly isn't as far as i've seen so far. just throwin this out there. feel free to contradict.

We should all pray that we may one day worship God and have His approval. Isn’t that the most important thing? We shouldn’t worship God with the music I think is right or the music I want but the music He will approve! And I’m sorry if you’re not a ministry then what’s the point in having a band if not to minister to the souls? Romans 1:16-32.

If you say that a Christian's band has to be directly ministry-based, then EVERYTHING YOU DO needs to be completly ministry-based or you're a hypocrite.

Shouldn't the word of Christ be spread representing Him and not the world? When you see these videos you don't see God! That's why right up top it says, "Some bands used in this video do not consider themselves as ministry bands but rather are Christians in a band.” Yeah that’s because they are Christians that sing worldly music.” Honestly, I don’t know what music is the perfect music to worship God. But I intend to pray as long as I have to, to find out.
