Great video and beautiful music. The music of Eivør Palsdottir is perfect for this video:) Sweden is such a beautiful country. I was in Swedish Lapland last summer hiking Kungsleden on my own. The beauty and silence is matched by nothing else. It's magnificent and has to be experienced! I will definitely be back next summer. Oh, and the rest of Sweden is beautiful as well: Skåne, Småland, Dalarna...there are to many beautiful areas to mention them all here. Hälsningar från Danmark:)

Personally I feel sorry for foreign students coming here sitting all alone after school, but it's a part of our culture to not be that open. We are not like people from South Europe. And yes, we have racists, but so do Germany, Holland and other West European countries. And not all are so.

@imuser888 If you fell unwelcome just because people didn't make friends with you, I'm not sure it's because they were racists. Sure, there are racists in Sweden, but I believe you experience may be more due to the people of Sweden being rather private. I am from Denmark and we have the same behavior. It's not easy to come here and make friends with the Danes no matter where you come from. And it's even more pronounced in the other Scandinavian countries. That being said, racists do exist here:(

You should. Any idea where you'd go? There's a lot of places, all great in their own way.
For example, Norway probably has the most beautiful nature in the North, while Iceland is more of a center of Nordic culture. Sweden has it's forests and cities, Denmark it's fields and architecture.

@Andrekky I would say Sweden offers everything from Scandinavia. Farmlands, vast forests, archipelago, plains, great vallyes and mountains, and the biggest Scandinavian city located in the middle of scandinavia. Norway has beautiful fjords and mountains, Denmark beautiful plains and farmlands but Sweden has it all and it's own unique mix of everything. It's like three or even four countries in one. And the deep forest lakes of Sweden... you can really feel an ancient/ troll kind of prescence.

You really should visit the North sometime. There are many wonderous and beautiful places in the world, but I assure you that this one is special.

You should. Any idea where you'd go? There's a lot of places, all great in their own way.
For example, Norway probably has the most beautiful nature in the North, while Iceland is more of a center of Nordic culture. Sweden has it's forests and cities, Denmark it's fields and architecture.
It's all special.

@Andrekky Whoah, well... then it's a difficult choice =/ for what you're saying... I guess the first place will be Norway ^^ but Iceland will be fine too, to see all the culture.... I always wanted to know more about Nordic culture. Although, I guess the best choice will be save some money and see all of them =P I have a long life ahead so I have time to see all =)

@Andrekky I would say Sweden offers everything from Scandinavia. Farmlands, vast forests, archipelago, plains, great vallyes and mountains, and the biggest Scandinavian city located in the middle of scandinavia. Norway has beautiful fjords and mountains, Denmark beautiful plains and farmlands but Sweden has it all and it's own unique mix of everything. It's like three or even four countries in one. And the deep forest lakes of Sweden... you can really feel an ancient/ troll kind of prescence.
