I think the USA has a bunch of Generals who don't know aything but a "roll out the troops" method of fighting. Its going to take a long time but ultimately its the responsibility of the Afghans themselves to rise up and take back their country and make sure they create a state thats beneficial to all of its people. i'm just very grateful that i never took up the offer when i passed the selection test for the royal marines at 17 because now at 40 i have my own mind and my own morals - not ones forced on me

No what you saw was the resolute but stern faces of people who are ready to give back a country to its people once the oppressive , cowardly and despotic Taliban are no more. Its going to take a long time but ultimately its the responsibility of the Afghans themselves to rise up and take back their country and make sure they create a state thats beneficial to all of its people. I wish NATO troops success and give my full support knowing that most of the pro democratic nations do as well.
