Why are people arguing which is better between Warhammer and World of Warcraft? Isn't Warcraft a video games based series, where as warhammer is a table top miniatures wargame. I "played" both, though quit wow recently as I just didn't have the time for it, and warhammer is a once a week hobby for me, just easier to fit in. Still, the video games based on both intellectual properties are pretty good.

Well, seeing as the orcs first featured in the Games Workshop game Warhammer almost 30 years ago. They were green skinned. To be fair though, that's a tabletop wargame, so it doesn't really count. Anyway, I'll check out the cinematics you mentioned. Cheers!

In Warcraft the orcs are not originally green, they were tricked into consuming demonic energy witch made there brown skin shed and underneath was the green skin most orcs have today. Garrosh Hellscream is a prime example of the original brown skin.

All Orcs are green and have big teeth though, thats no argument at all, the armour is much different for one i have collect war Orcs and the armour on the models is different, but when War came out as a mmo the orc and goblin armour looks exactly like the Wow stuff even though the models are different.

In the actual mmo - yeah, definitely. Besides - warcraft 1 was planned to be warhammer 1, but blizzard f_cked it up, lost the license, thought "uh well we like it...let's just call it warcraft".

In war you're able to read through stuff in the tome of knowledge - you live the war - fight for your king and survival. In wow the storyline is just something to rip out new boss encounters.

What I said was that Warcraft 1 was supposed to be a official WARHAMMER FANTASY game but because Blizzard could not get the rights from Games Workshop than they decided o create a "NEW" game.
