I think My Twin's are a GREAT company but they are WAY too expensive (149$)!Thart's alot! I want a My Twin doll SOO much but American Girl is a LESS price (100$) but also I think American Girl is very pricey but not as pricy :)
I think my twin is a great company in a lll but American girl does have a lot of better things about it First they come in different outfits. Second you don't just want a doll just like YOU you want something different about each doll. And they don't come with back stories, Like american girl dolls do! MT dolls are custom made to resemble real girls. The kids make up their own stories and play time. AG dolls are made to teach girls about how girls lived in different times in American history. They are not meant to be custom dolls. They come with their own storylines and historical clothes and accessories. You don't have to like one better than the other. Like each for what they are.

Actually, the modern dolls in the American Girl company you are referring to as Just Like You dolls were originally marketed as American Girl of Today. Completely different. The change begun after Mattel took over and bought AG from Pleasant Rowland so technically Mattel copied. xD

i have a my twinn doll i got it when i was 8 years old. im 13 now but i think i will send it in to be updated for christmas. obviously i have changed with my hair and everything. i dont have straight across bangs anymore lol!

Actually, the modern dolls in the American Girl company you are referring to as Just Like You dolls were originally marketed as American Girl of Today. Completely different. The change begun after Mattel took over and bought AG from Pleasant Rowland so technically Mattel copied. xD

omg! they are so ugly and if you check and see if they are perfect then WHY did my friends come out GREEN???? IT looks nothing like her too! And American Girl make there dolls too! they do the hair and the dolls have meaning to them! the jly look like you and there are historical dolls that tell storys! so American girl dolls are WAY better then these dolls! Oh and they arnt the cutest thing in the world.

i totally agree! I don't mean to sound mean or anything, but my twinn dolls are SUPER scary! AG creates dolls to tell stories and make memories, and ilove that abot them! BTW, all you people who said My Twinn Came first and AG copied, STOP. AG did NOT copy any body, and as far as im concerned, AG came out in1986, and i'm pretty sure that's before My Twinn CAme out!!
