the versions of this song are pretty much the same to me, but the 1st album with songs that i think the original singer wrote are much better. i think that the newer albums lost a lot without her writing them..... ooor she didnt even write the 1st one and im confused.

I don't think you could really compare Alexia and Lindsey that much. They actually sound so alike it's not funny.

well really, Lindsey's voice is a bit higher, but yeah very close. When it comes to preference, it depends on the specific song, like I wouldnt enjoy hearing Lindsey singing "Reach", pretty much because I'm so used to hearing Alexia.

Haha yeah. but I did notice that on the Reach album, about 75% of the songs still have Lindsey singing on them, but Alexia I guess just layered her vocals overtop. but most songs you can still hear Lindsey perfectly. But very nice to see another 'ol school ESTK fan! haha

Don't get me wrong, Alexia is a banging guitarest but she's YEARS behind Lindsey. Lindsey has trained carefully since she left ESTK and has finally shed what Alexia is still a victim of: a nasally voice. Not to mention even if certain fans prefer Alexia, they have to remember that everything she sang on Reach was Lindsey's material. Again, Alexia is a great guitarist... but that's the thing--singing is her second nature and it'll be a while until she (if she ever does) outshine Lindsey.

Well not exactly "new", but yes. Lindsey was the original vocalist, while Alexia was the lead guitarist/backing vocalist. When Lindsey left, Alexia just took over as lead vocalist, and she continues to play guitar. Just go watch an older video, say, Liar in the glass, then watch something more recent, like Heights. You'll see. Are you new to the band?

well i was lucky enough to talk to Lindsey on myspace a while ago, and she told me that she didnt like the way the management handled the band, but she was the only one in the band who saw things that way, and decided to leave and pursue a solo career. but i can only guess that she and the other guys in the band are no longer friends, as none of them are friends on myspace, and its not as if friends wouldnt add each other, you know? but i have lindsey's myspace link in the description, check it

alexia has a more fitting voice in my opinion for the band lindsey's voice seemed too prissy for a screamo band like them and alexia's voice is better..
