  • It's never going to be over or go away. My unit is STILL there, as are many other's who had no one to help them, like Paula, Gord, Chrissy, Jimbo, they are all still standing. Like he really needed that land so quickly.Feb.23rd will be 3 yrs & he hasn't lifted a finger yet. Thanks for this video Topper's, it's surreal, but it's ours.

  • WE only asked Marineland for $360,000.00 For 47 families. That was below our assessment value, let alone he is only entitled to give us $3,000.00 He knew damn well his intent for that property. I suggest he set his Tee-Pee up & live in that. That would be too good for him, miserable old man. He continued to allow these units to be purchased. Well it's true Holer, you can't take it with you when you go. You've proved thatOH YA, he only paid $300,000.00

  • I encourage everyone who views this video (and the other one posted) to please pass it on. We need to spread the word because this hasnt/isnt just happening at Green Oaks. Its happening all over Canada, and our government is doing nothing but sitting back and relaxing. Its time they step up to the plate and open their eyes!!! May Paula rest in peace! I also want to thank my parents for putting in such hard work fighting for these 47 families!!

  • My family lived at Green Oaks, I, my family and my 5 year old son became very comfortable with our surrondings at Green Oaks. We had numerous memories there. My son took his first steps in their home. My parents put hours and hours of their hard work into this home to just have it taken from under their feet. Holer is a piece of shit! Shame on that monster!!!!!

  • I have a 78 yr old friend who is going through the same thing. He also has prostrate cancer. He rented for 21 yrs from The St Lawrence Seaway. They sold the parcel of land with no notice to him and the new owners (Sunshine Gardens) have tried repeatedly to evict him. We dont know what this summer will bring, if they will continue to try and uproot him but we will fight! All he wants to do is end his days there in his home. I will share your video and hope my friends will as well. This is so sad.

  • Very poignant. There are just times when people are pushed to their very limits, politicians just pass the buck, no help at all, I won't be voting in this election. Wouldn't waste the gas to drive to the polls since the politicians didn't waste their gas to even come to Crystal Beach, Madoc, to see how we are doing. So sad, the poor woman had lost all hope. Is this Canada, do we have any rights, really, when it comes right down to it? RIP Paula.

  • This is such a disgrace

  • with the billions of dollars Marineland rakes in each year, they missed out on a wonderful opportunity to show love and compassion, and social responsibility by compensating these families. It would not have hurt their bottom line - on the contrary, it would have raised their social standing.

  • From a federal economic standpoint, our country cannot afford to worsen the (mostly invisible) homeless crisis in Canada. "From far and wide, oh Canada WE stand on guard for thee".. 'WE" means all of us. If we can't stand for eachother, what good is the oath our country is founded on? The Sweet Spot Training in Pickering, ON will do it's part to share this news with the world. Peace be with you all.

  • This is very disheartening indeed. I agree, our Government needs to step in, to take accountability for their people - our family and friends! My heartfelt prayers & condolences to friends & family of Paula - and to all who have been affected by this.

  • KEEP IT SPREADING!!!!!!!!

  • LET'S SPREAD THIS WORLDWIDE!!!!

This is so sad. This video is so powerful. WOW. R.I.P Paula. Please share this video with all your friends on facebook, twitter, hotmail, yahoo, gmail, etc., if you have a HEART !!! It is sending out a very strong and very important message. This message needs to spread, not only for these 47 families, but for all the other landlease communities in this world. Thanks.

  • Iknow that in my home, I got the truck, moved some items, & even though my property was "SECURED", Holer let the vandals in. They stole a 50gal. hot water tank, ruining any paperwork or photos I had, a 55,000 BTU furnace I had just purchased, my sinks, my TOILET, tore down my ceilings, my gas fireplace, tore the back off my late Fathers Tv, my washer & dryer, there was only a few belongings to take. Now I have to rely on government help. My family is from Lyon's Creek & McLeod Rds. Paula's life

  • Posted and will repost every few weeks to make sure that no one at least on my friends list on facebook will miss it ....
