Check out Beastie Boys, they're my favorite rap-group. I can understand you not liking Jay-Z or some other mainstream rapper, but some rap is really good. Rock and rap don't need to be compared.

Great album...I still have an original German pressing, and a UK one as well. The German pressing on 'Metronome Records' had a much less colourful cover...same idea, but in black white and yellow. I still crank 'Blood Guts & Beer' now an then.
The album was also produced by Fast Eddie Clark of Motorhead fame.
