More or less likely you'll get published. I'm an amazing writer. And I'll never, ever, ever be able to get published.

99.9999% of authors know a friend who is a publisher or an agent or have parents who do that.

So you could be better than Stephen King(Which I bet you are.) and never will get published. Stephen King had a friend who was an agent, so he got published.

Yes, it is very hard to publish a book, and there many steps to it, also, but I would sooo read your book if it was later available in stores!

@Grantmcdaniel Sorry, but that's not true. There's thousands of authors, not every single one of them make it into the industry thanks to a friend of theirs. If you say you'll never be published, then you won't, because you won't even give it a try. It takes perseverance. Go to a writing conference. That's how you meet agents, publishers, and authors. Don't judge the industry until you know more about it.
